Aiming to provide intense training to Peer facilitators, N’Zarama Center for Peacebuilding (NCP) in collaboration with TeacherShip International Consulting Training Group from South Africa, hosted two workshops which totaled six days to teach strategies to peer facilitators on issues of sexuality, families, stigma, and HIV/AIDS prevention. About 50 youths from different organizations coming from different regions of Cote d’Ivoire were trained as MTV SHUGA BABI PEER FACILITATORS in the two events which were held from January 8- 14th, 2021 at Etoile du Sud Hotel in Grand Bassam.
Cote d’Ivoire is the fourth country in which this program is being implemented, after Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria, with Staying Alive Foundation (SAF) as the main sponsor of the event.
