Capacity building and information session at the NCP office

On the 19th of February 2019, N'zarama Center for Peacebuilding welcomed Mr. Emile Ako, a board member of NCP for a capacity building and information session at the NCP office.
Mr. Ako was introduced to the new staff members and was briefed on the current projects Nzarama is working on. Additionally, Mr. Ako gave an informative presentation on Score Liberia 2018, a versatile research instrument for the assessment of social cohesion and reconciliation in Liberia. A project he has been working on with Seed in partnership with the United Nations Development Program, as well Search for Common Grounds. Mr. Ako presented the key findings of Score Liberia 2018 and stressed the importance of providing a cutting edge evidence-based policy prescription for a sustainable peace. The session was very educative and empowering since N'zarama center for peace building acknowledges that the basis for all development activities is anchored in evidence collected from research and that Nzarama strives to conduct research and disseminate findings to relevant stakeholders for policy action.
